Our Story
From WNY,
The Black Widow band, fronted by the talented Lana Marie has been performing cover music at various events for an impressive 35 years. With over 50 Buffalo music awards to their name, they are renowned for their raw talent, high-energy stage presence, and exceptional production. Their versatility makes them a top choice for any music event across the East Coast region, ensuring a top-tier show.
The Black Widow band has gained a dedicated following among thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts. They have frequently traveled between three states, performing at main stage events such as Ohio Bike Week in Sandusky, OH, Roar-On-The Shore in Erie, PA, ABATE of PA State Rally, and Hollywood Happenings in Gowanda, NY. These events are part of their extensive history, showcasing their remarkable journey over the past three decades.
Lana Marie , the band’s lead vocalist, expressed admiration for their current lineup, stating, “Our current lineup is the absolute best group of professionals in all of my 35 years playing in this band.” Dustin Francis, their five-time winner of the “Best Rock Guitarist” award, is praised for his incredible energy and talent, with Lana noting his exceptional vocal range. Nino Catanzaro, their bass player, is also highly regarded, having toured with the Outlaws for many years. Lana describes his talent on bass and vocals as mind-blowing, always on point. Joe Dehlinger, their drummer, who was voted “Best Rock Drummer” from the Buffalo music awards, is credited with keeping the band together. Lana fondly refers to him as “my big brother,” emphasizing his positive influence and ability to keep the band upbeat.
“We all contribute, but imagine Black Widow without Lana Marie, the lead vocalist. She’s our voice, our rhythm, and our inspiration.” This sentiment resonates with the band members when asked about Lana Marie. Her sassy and energetic vocals breathe new life into popular songs. She transcends genres like country, rock, and pop, redefining classics and making them her own.
Lana Marie Hergert, an 8-time award-winning female rock vocalist, has been entertaining rock and roll fans for 35 years. When she’s not rocking out with the band, she keeps busy modeling and singing jingles for local radio and TV commercials.
The Black Widow band has had the privilege of opening for renowned national acts like Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Quiet Riot, Pat Benatar, and Vixen.

Our Music
Our music is anywhere from the 60’s to present! I always say we could do a wedding one night and a bike event the next or a graduation party, with the front line all featured on vocals there’s not much we can’t do!
